About Us

Macquarie Hand Therapy, part of the Hand Therapy Group and the wider Healthia network, provides expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals experiencing hand and upper limb pain or dysfunction. We are a busy, fast-paced clinic employing both Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, with a strong reputation for excellence and compassionate care.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week – Monday or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday).

You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting our clinical team with high-quality administrative services.

There may also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at Macquarie Hand Therapy and Hills Norwest Hand Therapy

Key Responsibilities

* Greeting patients, answering phones, and managing appointments
* Invoicing, receipting, and debt collection
* General office administration duties
* Supporting the practice with business operations
* Managing WorkCover cases and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines

About You

You're a customer-focused professional who thrives in a team-based environment. You have a friendly and proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

* Previous experience in a medical or physiotherapy administration role (desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Experience with practice management systems (Nookal or similar preferred)
* Strong multitasking and time management abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A high standard of ethics and professionalism
* Flexibility to support the needs of the practice
