Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing claims beyond 78 weeks in workers' compensation, ensuring ongoing support and reviewing the entitlements of injured workers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities, communicate with various stakeholders, and ensure timely processing of payments and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review medical reports, rehabilitation progress, and vocational assessments to determine the worker's capacity to return to work.
* Communicate clearly and empathetically with injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers to build trust and ensure all parties are informed about the claim status, treatment plans, and return to work expectations.
* Coordinate medical treatment, approve treatment plans, schedule appointments, and monitor progress to facilitate recovery.
* Process payments for medical treatment, disability benefits, and other expenses related to the claim in a timely and accurate manner.
* Participate in case conferences with stakeholders to evaluate progress and make informed decisions about the claim.
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions, decisions, and progress related to each claim, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
* Ability to plan and organize work effectively to manage timeframes and priorities.
* Experience working concurrently across multiple technology platforms.
* High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team in an office-based environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
* Sensitivity to issues related to people with medical, cultural, and social needs.
