Electronic Security Systems Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security Systems Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic security systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain electronic security equipment, access control systems, intercom systems, CCTV systems, and public address systems
* Liaise with customers to understand their security requirements
* Conduct site inspections to prepare quotations
* Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Queensland security licence installer and advisor
* A general induction white card
* An open cabling licence with endorsements
* A Blue card (working with children)
* Inner range and Tecom Challenger accreditations
* Australian citizenship
Desirable Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Hands-on experience with electronic security systems
* Knowledge of IP and analogue CCTV platforms
* Knowledge of intercom and public address systems
* Data and cabling installation experience
* Experience in IP networking
* Fault finding and diagnostics skills
