Job Title: Mason Craftsperson
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bricklayer to join our construction team. As a skilled craftsman, you will be responsible for laying bricks and blocks to create high-quality structures that meet building standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Laying bricks and blocks for external and internal walls in residential construction projects.
* Interpreting plans, setting out works, ensuring correct levels, plumb alignment, mixing mortar cutting shaping bricks as required.
* Constructing footings piers partitions fireplaces retaining feature walls where applicable installing lintels damp-proof courses wall ties reinforcement as needed maintaining clean work areas managing materials minimising wastage working collaboratively with supervisors other trades meeting build schedules following WHS requirements site safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For:
1. A trade qualification or demonstrable experience as a mason craftsperson with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience preferred;
