About the Role Reporting to the PMO National Convenience Lead, the Fit out (PMO) Project Manager will lead fitout projects through their entire lifecycle—from concept and design to construction and closeout—ensuring delivery excellence, compliance with governance standards, and strong stakeholder engagement. This is a multifaceted role requiring strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage several projects at once in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be part of a close-knit team spread across Australia, working collaboratively to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities include but not limited to Manage multiple fit out projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against key milestones. Oversee program of works and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Ensure all projects adhere to governance frameworks, safety standards, and quality requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, contractors, and authorities, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and manage risks, issues, and change requests effectively. Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior management. Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery. About You Proven experience in managing fit out projects within construction or property sectors. Experience managing program of works (not just individual projects). Proven ability to deliver end-to-end projects from concept to completion. Exposure to retail fit out projects is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of program management principles and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
