Description:

When you choose AusNet, you’ll join genuine people working together making Real. Progress

At AusNet, we’re the link between renewable energy sources and local communities, playing a key role in the clean energy transition and providing essential energy to every Victorian family.

Help us lead the way, while enriching your career with real people who encourage you to bring your best and make real impact – for your career, our communities, and Australia’s cleaner energy future.

Purposeful work with genuinely good people. That’s refreshing.

As a Project Coordinator within AusNet’s Transmission Delivery team, your role is pivotal in supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and customer projects across Victoria. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with AusNet’s project management standards.

Your focus will be to assist in the planning, execution, scheduling, and monitoring of project progress against key metrics such as cost, quality, risk, and schedule and ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. You will also support procurement coordination, maintain accurate project documentation, and foster effective communication among stakeholders to streamline administrative processes and enhance team collaboration.

With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Malvern and requires occasionally travel accompanied by an experienced project engineer/project manager to some of our under-construction project sites in Victoria

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

* Procurement Support: Follow up on procurement activities to ensure order of materials and resources are on time and work with logistics to make sure materials are on site as required.
* Administrative Tasks: Manage routine administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and organising files in the shared folders for easy access.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve common goals, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and provide support as needed.
* Stakeholder Communication: Draft emails, reports, and other written materials, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues. Relaying information to the necessary stakeholders as needed.
* Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and risks and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
* Learning and Development: Engage in training and development opportunities within the existing projects to enhance your skills and knowledge.

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

* Adaptability: Be open to change, able to learn quickly, and adjust to shifting priorities.
* Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas and information effectively.
* Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with diverse team members, share insights, and contribute to a positive working environment.
* Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate the ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
* Organisational Skills: Manage time and tasks efficiently, prioritise responsibilities, and stay organised.
* Problem-Solving: Be proactive in identifying and solving challenges that arise during internship tasks.
* Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft office suite e.g. PMO365.
* Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to accuracy and precision when performing tasks and documenting information.

A real place to belong.

We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team. Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.

We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here’s what sets us apart:

* Flexibility:whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part time arrangements, we’ll work with you to help balance work and life.
* Leave:more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
* Community giving:a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you.
* Perks:we offer all the other perks you’ve come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts and more.
