As a skilled metal fabrication and welding professional, you will be responsible for creating and joining components using MIG and TIG techniques. Your tasks will include interpreting technical drawings and specifications, assembling parts using various joining methods, conducting quality control checks, and finishing products through polishing, filing, sanding, and brushing.
About the Role
* Fabricate and weld components using MIG and TIG techniques (aluminium, stainless, and mild steel - including thick gauge)
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision
* Assemble components using welding, riveting, and other joining methods to meet product requirements
* Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure high-quality products
* Finish products through advanced processes such as polishing, filing, sanding, and TIG brushing to enhance their appearance and performance
Key Responsibilities
* Hold a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or have completed a Fabrication Apprenticeship
* Have strong welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Possess a Forklift licence, which is advantageous but not essential
* Demonstrate proven experience in a similar manufacturing or fabrication role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results
* Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
