The Role
We are seeking an experienced HC Driver/Tilt Tray Driver to join our team, based out of our Albany branch. This is a full-time position.
Please note: Machinery operators should only apply if they have heavy haulage experience and hold a HC class driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport oversized loads to customer sites.
* Conduct thorough pre-start checks before transportation.
* Ensure loads are securely fastened before and during transit.
* Adhere to safety standards, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
* Perform maintenance on trucks and equipment as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
* Load and unload equipment independently.
* Perform local deliveries, primarily driving on highways and interstate routes.
Essential Criteria:
* Must have a HC Driver's License.
* Holding a valid MSIC is highly regarded.
* Machinery operation tickets are desirable
* Forklift License preferred.
* Strong knowledge and practice of OH&S standards.
* Experience with long-distance trips.
* Heavy haulage experience required.
* Experience with quad and dolly trailers preferred.
* Capable of performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience transporting oversized loads.
* Ability to pass a medical exam, including drug and alcohol screening.
