Job Description
About the Role
This role is based in our Mitcham Community Programs Hub, which is a vibrant, busy environment. You'll work both on the floor and within the leadership team, helping clients achieve their goals through tailored support.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one‐on‐one support in Hub, home and community settings.
* Assist with personal care, health needs, and daily living tasks.
* Mentor and coach support staff to improve service quality.
* Contribute to planning and documentation of individualized programmes and staff rostering.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of individualized support and person‐centred practice.
* Ability to mentor and coach staff to improve service delivery.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
* Confident using client management systems and maintaining accurate records.
* Experience working independently and managing competing priorities.
Education and Qualifications
* Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (or equivalent).
* Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR), and training in Assist with Medication, Epilepsy & Midazolam, Through their Eyes, and Manual Handling.
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
* We're serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don't have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we'll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
