We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on Financial Controller to lead out finance and administration function and provide strong financial governance across the business.This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Director, responsible for both day-to-day financial management and broader strategic financial oversight.About the RoleThe Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations across multiple branches and lead the administration team. This role requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, operational commercial acumen, and strong internal controls to support business growth and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end financial operations across multiple branchesManage accounts payable and treasury functions and oversee accounts receivableMonitor and manage cash flowEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory obligationsPrepare monthly management reports and financial analysis for the DirectorOversee tax compliance including BAS, IAS and statutory reportingLiaise with external accountants, advisors and banking partnersEnd-to-end payrollHuman Resources function and maintain employee recordsOversee and coordinate external technology, software and equipment providersIdentify cost-saving initiatives and operational efficienciesLead and mentor the administration teamAssist with general office support requirements and/or delegating as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roleStrong technical accounting capabilityExperience operating within multi-branch or multi-entity environmentsDemonstrated ability to manage cash flow in dynamic business conditionsExperience working closely with external accountants and auditorsHigh-level analytical and reporting skillsStrong leadership and people management capabilityA hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically and operationally
