Our customers include 5 star hotels, caterers, government, cater venues, sports arenas, convention centers, retail, airlines, restaurants, clubs, cafe etc.
An excellent opportunity exists for a Bakery Team Members and Qualified Bakers/Savoury Pastry Chefs to work within our food production team. Day Shifts, Monday to Friday in a Full Time Role.
Ideally, you will:
Have experience in Savoury large scale production of food manufacturing specialising in baking (Pies, Pasties, Sausage Rolls Etc) with a proven track record in producing consistent high-quality products or willing to learn the following.
* A knowledge of different pastry varieties and bread dough applications
* Be experienced on or willing to learn how to operate large scale manufacturing equipment (Mixers, blockers, sheeters Etc)
* Be familiar with busy production out-puts (Multiple Products)
* Worked in a fast-paced large scale manufacturing facility
* Have an understanding of and have operated large manufacturing bakery ovens
* Have a sound knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) systems or willing to learn and understand
* A hands-on person with a can do attitude
Roles & Responsibilities of the Roles Available:
* Prep of dough, blocking & sheeting
* Report directly to management team
* Monitoring a coordinated production run
* Effective management of stock in your section
Experience: Large scale food manufacturing experience in pastry and or baking preferred, but if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and learn then this is for you
