Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in the Canberra area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping older members of our community maintain their independence and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of experience in a similar role and be passionate about providing an excellent service. You will be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems.
Responsibilities will include general housekeeping, cleaning and preparing meals, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and providing social and emotional support. You will also be responsible for getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, as well as providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Requirements
* Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
* Passion for providing excellent service
* Comfortable working with elderly clients
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
