Who will you be working with?
This brokerage is a progressive, people-first brokerage that combines national strength with local service. You'll be joining a high-performing team in a business that supports growth, collaboration, and innovation.
This portfolio was built by a highly regarded broker now entering retirement. With 70 loyal clients—including one account generating $1.2M GWP—it represents decades of trusted partnerships across industries like motor dealerships, agribusiness, manufacturing, construction, and property ownership. Many of the clients are family-owned businesses now passing the reins to the next generation - they need someone who can guide this transition with care, confidence and strategic insight.

What you'll be doing:

- Manage and retain a diverse portfolio of established mid-market to corporate clients
- Navigate complex placements including ISR, Fleet, Liability and Construction across diverse industries
- Build strong relationships with new client contacts as generational change occurs
- Identify growth opportunities and support BD activities
- Mentor and coach less experienced brokers within the team
- Collaborate closely with underwriters and placement teams locally and internationally
- Be an active, visible part of the leadership cohort

We are looking for someone with:

- 15–20 years' general insurance broking experience, with strong mid-market and corporate exposure
- Sound technical knowledge across a range of product lines
- Tier 1 qualification
- Proven experience managing and growing large books of business
- A relationship-first mindset with excellent communication skills
- Leadership qualities with a desire to mentor and contribute strategically
- Motivation to step into a long-term opportunity and make it your own
