Electrical Estimator Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead our estimating and tendering activities for Queensland-based projects.
About the Role
* Lead the preparation of detailed, competitive, and technically compliant estimates for Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and tenders originating from Queensland customers.
* Develop comprehensive cost models including materials, labour, subcontractors, plant, and preliminary costs for large-scale electrical projects.
* Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project handovers and alignment of scope and budget.
* Mentor junior estimators and improve estimating tools, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience as a Electrical Estimator with a strong track record of securing and delivering large-scale projects.
* Proven ability to interpret complex technical specifications, drawings, and contract documentation.
* Advanced proficiency with estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
