Join the team protecting South Australia's world-class produce. As a Fruit Fly Controller, you'll be part of essential field operations helping to manage and prevent outbreaks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect properties and produce for signs of fruit fly activity
* Set traps, collect samples, and prepare submissions for laboratory analysis
* Apply treatments and control measures as directed
* Maintain accurate inspection and treatment records
* Engage with the local community to promote prevention practices
* Respond to outbreaks as part of a dedicated response team
What You'll Need:
* Experience in outdoor or manual work (fruit picking a plus)
* Current full driver's licence (4WD/trailer towing an advantage)
* National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
