Your Impact

Our ANZ Digital Solutions team is expanding rapidly as we continue to accelerate investment in discovering and developing new assets while optimising the performance of existing operations. We are now seeking a mid‐level Associate Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to help shape and deliver the electrical, instrumentation and controls (EIC) components of multidisciplinary projects.

In this role, you will apply engineering standards and best‐practice methodologies across Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Telecommunications and Operational Technology. You'll contribute to project delivery, provide technical insight, and support the development of innovative digital and operational technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

* Supporting and preparing project lifecycle documentation for EIC elements, including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations & maintenance materials.
* Providing technical reviews and support across consultancy engagements, project delivery activities and O&M support.
* Assisting in the collaborative development and integration of Operational Technology solutions.
* Assisting in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Supporting in identifying project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Participating actively in Communities of Practice and employee network groups.

Required skills and experience

* Relevant tertiary degree with robust knowledge of Instrumentation, Control Systems, Telecommunications, Networking and Operational Technology design. Professional Registration (CPEng) and Electrical Design knowledge desirable.
* Ability to deliver design work across Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems (including HMI, PLC, RTU, SCADA and DCS), as well as wired and wireless industrial communications, for both single discipline and multidisciplinary projects.
* Water, wastewater, power, renewables and general non‐process infrastructure industry experience desirable.
* Experience in supporting the preparation of project lifecycle documentation for EIC components (proposals, concept and detailed designs, O&M documents).
* Programming, control systems development/integration and industrial cybersecurity experience desirable.
* Exposure to Operational Technology systems, including system development or integration highly regarded.
