Leadership Role in Tax and Business Advisory
This is a leadership position with direct exposure to senior management, offering a mix of client responsibility, team oversight, and advisory work.
* The role requires the ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
* Key responsibilities include managing BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, and other statutory compliance.
* Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with tax planning, entity setups, and business structuring.
* Maintaining and growing strong client relationships is crucial to success in this role.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders is also a key aspect of this position.
* Effective allocation, review, and management of the workflow of 2–3 junior accountants is essential.
* Providing mentorship and ensuring timely, accurate outcomes is also a key responsibility.
About the Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax and/or business advisory is required.
* Confident communication and trusted client liaison skills are necessary.
* Strong organisation and time management skills are also essential.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven individuals are well-suited to this role.
* At least 2 years in a leadership or review role is desirable.
* SMSF knowledge is also desirable.
