We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take ownership of engineering delivery - coordinating teams, driving performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to scope.
Major Projects
18 month fixed-term contract, extension / conversion to FTE based on performance
$160-190k + super
What you’ll be doing You’ll play a critical leadership role in coordinating engineering delivery across the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, testing and handover.
Coordinate and oversee engineering delivery across multidisciplinary teams for assigned projects
Work closely with Project Managers and engineering teams to meet delivery targets
Manage engineering scope, priorities, resources, and schedules
Oversee design reviews, Safety in Design, and engineering compliance
Manage technical queries, engineering change, and design deliverables
Interface with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Drive project performance, reporting, and technical outcomes
Support site works, commissioning, and project closeout
Mentor and support junior engineers and team development
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
What you’ll need to be successful in the role

Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic Engineering (or similar)
10+ years’ experience in engineering project delivery
Background in telecommunications, mining, oil & gas, defence, or infrastructure
Proven experience in EPC environments and large-scale project execution
Strong knowledge of engineering design, delivery processes, project scheduling, estimating & reporting, contract scope and change management
Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex deliverables
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or eligibility (Engineers Australia) – HIGHLY REGARDED
