Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer
Geelong | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid
A senior IAM specialist is required to join a program delivery team supporting enterprise identity and access management initiatives. This is a 6-month contract based in Geelong with a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
This role will provide technical leadership across the design, build and enhancement of identity and access management solutions. You will work across business-critical applications, lead IAM integrations, and support improvement initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing identity and access management solutions
Leading IAM integrations across internal and third-party systems
Applying RBAC, MFA, conditional access and privileged access management principles
Supporting production troubleshooting and service restoration where required
Contributing to solution design reviews and technical documentation
Participating in scoping workshops and providing effort estimates
Key experience required:
Strong hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, NetIQ or One Identity
Experience with privileged access management tools such as CyberArk or Entra PIM
IAM integration experience including federation and SSO
Experience with PowerShell scripting and directory services
Understanding of IAM control frameworks such as NIST or ISO
Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders
This role is suited to a senior IAM professional who combines strong hands-on capability with structured thinking and enterprise-level integration experience.
