Salary: DCS Clerk Grade 07/08 (base from $113,574 - $125, 720 + super)

About you:
* Ability to keep track of multiple resources and ensure that everything is allocated effectively.
* To liaise with different teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Ability to resolve conflicts and find efficient solutions under pressure.
* Understanding of budgeting and cost control related to resource allocation.
* Ensuring that all resources are accounted for and used effectively.
* Prior experience in resource coordination, project management, or a related role is typically required.
* Acting as a liaison between business units
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
* Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
About the role:
The responsibilities of the resource coordinator are to build and maintain strong relationships with Hiring Managers, Talent and other key stakeholders through consultation, collaboration, responsive advice, and service ensuring recruitment, attraction, and talent resourcing efforts re integrated into Branch programs and practices
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Assess project needs and allocate resources accordingly (human, equipment, or budget).
* Coordinate with project managers to adjust resource schedules based on project timelines.
* Forecast resource needs for upcoming projects.
* Act as a liaison between departments, teams, and project managers.
* Communicate resource availability, constraints, and potential risks to stakeholders.
* Provide updates on resource usage and requirements during project progress meetings.
* Ensure that resources are used efficiently to stay within budget.
* Assist in estimating resource-related costs for upcoming projects.
* Identify potential risks related to resource shortages or misallocation.
* Work with project managers to develop contingency plans.
* Coordinate with external vendors or suppliers for resource acquisition or services.
* Ensure timely delivery of external resources or services.
* Oversee and coordinate the chargeback process to ensure all expended payments are refunded to DCS by the relevant NSW government agency.
* In charge of writing briefing notes that are clear, and succinct on including the crucial details required for decision-making.
Who we are:
The Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance Team (DSIA) works across whole of NSW Government to drive digital and ICT strategy, alignment, planning, prioritisation, and investment.
The team:
* Plays a pivotal role in driving digital strategy and alignment to improve customer outcomes, reduce legacy systems and drive adoption of common assets.
* Administers the $2.2 billion Digital Restart Fund transforming the way government invests in Digital and ICT and driving digital change in NSW.
* Delivers independent oversight of NSW Government ICT and digital projects, including Gateway reviews and periodic health checks at key points in a projects lifecycle to support identifying the right projects, delivering them on-time, on-budget and eliminating risks.
* Transforms the way government works to solve problems through the Digital Design Toolkit, Design Standards and Design System, making it easier for teams to build and deliver great digital service.
