Job Title: Heritage Consultant, Environment and Planning
We are seeking a highly skilled Heritage Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the Victorian Environment and Planning team, you will play an integral part in bringing innovative ideas to life for our clients across various sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong capability in project planning and feasibility from conception through to construction on a wide range of projects across Victoria and Australia. You will be required to undertake a mix of field-based and desk-based work, with occasional travel and work in regional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct cultural heritage impact assessments and develop appropriate management and mitigation measures for a variety of projects.
* Lead projects and small teams of cultural heritage and/or environmental professionals to deliver high-quality heritage assessments and reporting with exceptional technical and editorial standards.
* Engage effectively with clients and senior members of design teams to scope and prepare proposals.
* Utilize strong networking skills to communicate well across teams and with clients and regulatory agencies to achieve desirable project outcomes.
* Cultivate a desire to grow with a team of like-minded cultural heritage professionals to respond to market demand for these services.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Bachelor degree with a major in Archaeology and working knowledge of Commonwealth and Victorian legislation and policy. A current Victorian driver's license is essential, and a Defence baseline clearance will be highly regarded.
