About the role:
CHU at West HQ is recruiting for an inspired and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a large front of house team ensuring seamless restaurant operations and delivering impeccable service.
What are we looking for?
* Considerable experience working in a fine dining/al la carte restaurant management role.
* Operational finesse, strong floor presence and a passion for hospitality.
* Excellent wine knowledge (WSET and/or Court of Master Sommelier certification is a bonus).
* Exceptional food knowledge (Pan-Asian cuisine is preferred, not essential).
* Expertise and attitude required to elevate the customer experience from excellent to remarkable.
* Outstanding leadership and management abilities including the ability to provide performance feedback, training and coaching.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with the Head Chef and broader West HQ Management Team.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labour costs and profitability.
* The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
* Sound understanding of rostering and budgeting processes.
* Excellent knowledge of Food Safety and RSA compliance.
