Rehabilitation & Return to Work CoordinatorLeading State Government Department requires a Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator to support their employees in their safe return to work.Location: Brisbane BasedContract: 6-Month Contract with Potential to ExtendYour new roleReporting to the WHS Manager, your key duties will include:Acting as the point of contact for injured workers and supporting them throughout their recovery.Assisting injured workers to remain at or return to work during recovery from work-related injuries.Planning the worker's return to work, including making decisions to facilitate their return.Consulting with injured workers, healthcare providers, occupational rehabilitation providers, WorkSafe Agents, or workers' representatives.Monitoring recovery progress of injured workers.Implementing measures to prevent injury recurrence or aggravation.Serving as a contact point for WorkSafe return to work inspectors.Resolving issues or disputes related to return to work.What you'll need to succeedIdeal candidates will have:Previous RTW and rehabilitation experienceCertificate IV in WHS and RTW (desirable)Availability for immediate startStrong MS Office skillsCustomer service focus and stakeholder engagement skillsWhat you'll get in returnAn opportunity to work within a collaborative team on a 6-month contract, with potential for extension.Next stepsIf interested, click 'apply now' to send your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
