Redwheat Accommodations Pty Ltd trading as WhitsunStays is a family owned and operated business in the Mackay/Whitsundays area. We offer 5 star rated, quality short term/ holiday accommodation services to guests that are visiting our region and a friendly, supportive and understanding place of work for our team members.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated team player to incorporate into our hard working and friendly team.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning guest rooms to Resort/Hotel standards
* Ensure rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
* Linen items are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
* Complete allocated tasks, working systematically from room to room within the specified time frame
* Ensure all equipment are maintained, used and stored correctly
* Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes, ensuring safe work practices are maintained
* Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications and attributes
* A great attitude
* Strong work ethics
* Availability to work between 9.30am and 2pm daily
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays or when needed
* Own transport
* Strong appreciation for guest satisfaction
* Work with a positive demeanor and efficient manner
* A friendly customer service attitude
Employment details
A casual position is being offered to the successful applicant with the possibility of a permanent part-time role in the future. Hours will vary depending on the workload from week to week. The successful applicant will need to be available to be called in on short notice at times.
