We are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working across purchasing, supplier coordination, accounts payable, and job costing functions in a fast-paced environment.
The opportunity
This is a full-time role playing a vital part in our finance functions as a our company expands rapidly.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working closely with the broader team, you will oversee bookkeeping across several entities, including:
· Managing accounts payable processes and supplier invoices
· Processing purchase orders and coordinating purchasing activities
· Assisting with job costings using Gojee and Xero
· Maintaining accurate financial and purchasing records
· Liaising with suppliers and internal team members regarding orders and account queries
· Supporting the smooth day-to-day administration of purchasing and accounts functions
About you
You're a highly organised, proactive professional with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. You must be comfortable managing day-to-day financial tasks independently and supporting the wider finance functions when required.
Ideally, you will bring:
· Experience in purchasing/accounts type roles
· Experience in high volume accounts payable /job costings
· Experience accounting reports, including P&L Reports
· Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar cloud accounting software)
· Experience with the implementation of new software; e.g Gojee highly desirable
· High attention to detail and accuracy
