**How will I help?**
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Change and Obligations, this Executive Manager role sits within the Enterprise Compliance function. This area comes under the Westpac Group's Financial Crime, Compliance & Conduct division and is an independent advisory, control and monitoring function which establishes frameworks, policies and processes for the management of compliance risk across the Westpac Group.
This role is within the Regulatory Change & Obligations team which is responsible for ensuring that the design and operation of the Group's approach to manage regulatory requirements via the obligations management framework is effective.
**Work collaboratively to**:
- Manage material regulatory requirements by overseeing the governance and management of obligations across the Group.
**You will be responsible for a broad range of accountabilities which may include the following**:
- Maintain the Group's obligations library (chiefly Australian financial services law) through drafting new and amending existing obligations.
- Lead and support stakeholders, including regulatory change projects, in managing obligations, and advising the business on applicability.
- Oversee the Group's obligation transformation program, including uplift of current obligations (domestic and offshore).
- Collaborate with regulatory change stakeholders to identify, manage and monitor compliance and conduct obligations.

**What do I need?**
- 10+ years' experience in a professional or corporate environment. Financial services is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience in managing key stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
- Understanding of compliance management frameworks, including for example obligations management, and key compliance risks.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory environments (i.e. Australian financial services law), and experience in advising business stakeholders and plain English interpretation
- Experience with regulatory projects and/or delivery of solution
- Experience with IBM Open Pages or equivalent obligations management system is highly desirable
- Degree qualified, minimum of a Bachelor degree
