The role
As we continue to grow our Australian operations, we are looking for a dedicated Business Support person to ensure our offices run seamlessly. Working alongside our multidisciplinary Consultant team, you will be part of our Business Support team that is the backbone of our daily activities, supporting our operational needs.
Your ultimate goal is to organise the functions and resources of our offices, ensuring smooth daily operations while contributing to the continuous improvement of our administrative processes.
Key responsibilities
* Office & Resource Management: Organise human resources, office space, equipment, supplies, and inventory, including coordinating purchasing and replenishment to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Stakeholder & Supplier Liaison: Liaise directly with suppliers, professionals, and contractors regarding office needs, procurement, service delivery, and the resolution of operational issues.
* External and Internal Events and Engagement Support: work alongside the Marketing team to support the organisation and delivery of external and internal events and engagement initiatives.
* Administrative Excellence & Process Improvement: Keep accurate company records, accounts, and administrative documentation, while actively organising and improving office management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
* Team & Personnel Lifecycle Support: Assist the Consultant, Admin, and Marketing teams with day‐to‐day activities, and support personnel lifecycle activities such as hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, and training.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain the organisation's workflow charts, manuals, records, and job descriptions, while assisting management with administrative coordination and reporting.
* Data & Technology Utilisation: Leverage technology, including spreadsheets, databases, and electronic presentations, to maintain effective information flows, keep records, and automate procedures.

* Experience & Qualifications: No specific qualifications or previous work experience are required - we are looking for the right attitude, potential, and a hands‐on commitment to making things happen.
* Exceptional Communicator: You maintain excellent oral and written communication with staff, management, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
* Detail‐Oriented & Professional: You demonstrate a strong work ethic, close attention to detail, and consistent professionalism in all your duties.
* Tech‐Savvy: You are comfortable using digital tools like spreadsheets and databases to manage information and improve administrative workflows.
* Proactive Organiser: You are eager to contribute to the planning and review of office priorities and service standards, helping to build operational efficiency across the business.
