Comfortable, furnished one-bedroom flat located on a horse farm, just 10 minutes from Mareeba on the Cairns side. In exchange for accommodation, we are looking for a single or couple to assist in some handyman jobs, also stable hand work with horses. Hours to be discussed. Depending on single or a couple on application.
Handyman
* Spraying paddocks for weeds
* Slashing paddocks
* Checking electric fencing
* Gardening
* Fixing irrigation pipes
* Feeding horses as needed
* General handyman tasks
Please note that many of these tasks will be done as needed rather than on a strict weekly schedule.
Stable hand Duties
* Feeding of horses
* Making feeds up
* Small amount of cleaning stables.
* Experience with horses preferred.
It is essential that you do not use drugs and maintain sober habits.
