Due to our sustained growth, Raine CDC are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Designer with hands‐on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This position reports directly to the Designer Manager and involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Mining and Energy industries. You'll be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design, with a clear focus on Piping‐Mechanical‐Structural expertise.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5‐7 years of mechanical design experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software is required.
A minimum of 5+ years of SolidWorks experience is required.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential for this position.
Process piping design experience is a key requirement for this role.
A minimum of 3‐4 years of process piping design experience is required.

About the Role
Prepare 3D models and associated drawings for Non‐process infrastructure mining construction projects.
Multi‐disciplinary knowledge via a design and construct company regulary manufacturing components (Mechanical, Structural, Piping, Electrical & Civil)
Create detailed technical drawings and schematics for Clients and workshop tradespeople.
Integrate engineering changes, customer requirements or requests, and production feedback into the drawings as needed.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our manufacturing processes, materials, and component specifications.
Liaising with stakeholders and external subcontractors.
Perform various other duties and responsibilities as directed by the management team.
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural, Mechanical & Piping Design
Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting in a relevant CAD package. Solidworks skillset is preferred although not essential.
Competency in design checking will be highly regarded.
Ability to understand and draft Process & Instrumentation Diagrams
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi‐discipline team environment.
Proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Strong problem‐solving and planning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
Hold a Current WA driver's license
Ability to Pass a Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
Ability to pass a National Police Clearance check
