About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader Group are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our roaming shutdown crew servicing the Bowen Basin and Gailee Mines. Multiple sites, multiple rosters, 4‑6 week shutdowns.

What do I need to join?
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
- Driver’s licence (required)
- Desirable qualifications (willing to obtain): Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas testing atmospheres, Forklift/HR licence, Construction white card etc.
- QLD Coal Board Medical (highly regarded)
- Standard 11 SOA (highly regarded)
- National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain one
- Previous mining or heavy industrial experience (2+ years ideal)
- Solid fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to working safely and effectively in a team environment
- Motivated, hardworking and reliable with a professional attitude
