The role offers a chance to gain experience through exposure to various finance functions.
Responsibilities will include Credit Control, Stock Management Process, Weekly Reports for Senior Management, and Management Accounts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in Purchase Ledger, T&A System Functions, and Purchasing as part of a rotation start to the programme.
This provides an opportunity to become an integral part of a small finance team and quickly gain exposure to many financial elements.
You will also provide important administrative support, with the opportunity to lead projects as the role develops.
* Contribute significantly to the Credit Control function, helping the business bring cash into the business.
* Take charge of the stock take process, organizing weekly and monthly stock takes, ensuring accuracy and improving process.
* Support the Health and Safety Officer and Buyer with PPE Vending Machine usage, monitoring stock levels and employee usage.
* Be responsible for key weekly reports to Senior Managers within the division.
* Support the month end process via the completion of reports such as the Aged Debtors report.
* Engage in project work primarily based around financial and system controls following the implementation of a new ERP system.
Key Experiences and Skills Required
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and objectives.
* Computer literate, including high proficiency in Excel.
* Familiarity with key accounting concepts.
* Excellent verbal and written skills.
* High attention to detail.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant degree at a 2:1 or above.
* Can do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work well in a team.
