Due to company growth, they are seeking a self-motivated and driven sales professional to join their Sydney based head office team to lead the Woolworths Business.
The Opportunity
As the National Account Manager – Woolworths you will be reporting to the locally based Managing Director and your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following :
* Lead the relationship with Woolworths across all aspects of account management including developing and managing the joint business plan.
* Develop and execute clear customer account plans that provide direction for the business across existing and new categories
* Work closely with Marketing to improve brand impact at point of purchase across in-store and eCommerce platforms.
* Analyse category and customer data to identify opportunities
* Negotiate, manage and monitor trading terms and pricing
* Develop and execute an effective and sustainable promotion strategy to deliver a healthy ROI.
* Own the monthly forecast and quarterly budgeting process
* Regular sales and category reviews to maintain strong commercial control of the account.
About You
* Currently a junior NAM wanting to step up or an experienced NAM seeking a new dynamic category to further develop your professional FMCG Sales career
* Proven experience in FMCG account management managing either Woolworths or Coles (3-4 years preferred)
* Experience within a FMCG Fresh Food category a bonus but not essential
* Demonstrated success delivering sales growth, profitability and strong in-market execution through effective commercial management
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management and financial management
* Solid category management capability, using data and insights to identify opportunities and support category growth.
* Strong understanding of FMCG supply chain, forecasting, demand planning and inventory management
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proactive solutions-focused mindset with strong accountability for outcomes
* Strong awareness of food trends, innovation and the product development lifecycle
* Experience within fresh food categories advantageous
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline highly regarded
