Job Description
As an Energy Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our 24/7 operations department, managing real‐time energy flows on behalf of our clients. Working from the Adelaide trading room, you will use our state‐of‐the‐art software to execute energy operations across Europe, working closely with senior traders and market experts to implement client strategies, optimise portfolios, and ensure efficient market operations. Beyond shift duties, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects, analyse market trends, and support business development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
* A degree in IT, finance, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills – you enjoy working with data and optimising complex processes.
* Excellent communication and teamwork – you can collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
* High attention to detail and structured thinking – accuracy is critical in energy market operations.
* A proactive and self‐motivated mindset – you take initiative and adapt to new challenges.
* Flexibility to work in shifts – including occasional weekends and night shifts.
Job Requirements
* IT skills (e.g., coding, data analysis) are a plus but not mandatory.
