The Role
We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect with 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will encompass all aspects of master planning, concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, client negotiation and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead landscape projects from concept through to completion
* Liaise with Directors to determine appropriate fees and achievable time frames for work and to manage personal workflows
* Report to Directors on progress and billing cycles
* Manage self and staff to deliver projects to agreed time frames and budgets
* Undertake contract documentation, specification writing, contract administration inclusive of variations, project advice notices and claims, quality control and OH+S reporting.
* Assist Directors in improving practice systems, policy and processes
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders and sub-consultants
Key Requirements
* 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role
* Passionate about design, attention to detail and being a part of a close and creative team
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both graphic and oral)
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines, prioritise work and delegateExperienced in coordination and working with clients and consultants
* Proficient in Vectorworks, Adobe suite. MS office, Sketch up, hand illustration
* Experienced in preparing 3d visualisations and managing BIM (although not essential)
* Bachelor's Degree / Masters in Landscape Architecture or accepted equivalent experience
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
* Current driver's licence
