A well-established mid-tier bank is seeking a Product Manager to join its growing mortgages & lending function. This role offers exposure to a broad residential and/or business lending portfolio, with a strong emphasis on pricing strategy, portfolio performance and continuous product improvement.
Working as part of a collaborative product team, you'll support key commercial decisions and help shape how lending products perform in market.
The Role
This role has a real influence across pricing, performance and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the ongoing performance of lending products, tracking volumes, margins and portfolio trends across the market to inform recommendations
* Use data insights and reports to make pricing propositions on mortgage products
* Supporting new business and retention pricing decisions, including competitor analysis and repricing activity
* Contributing to planning, forecasting and regular performance reporting for senior stakeholders
* Supporting product enhancements and changes from early concept through to market release
* Working closely with technology, operations, distribution, risk and finance teams to deliver outcomes
About You
You'll be a hands‐on product professional who enjoys operating in a regulated environment and partnering across the business to get things done.
Ideally, you'll bring:
* Experience in mortgage lending product roles within a bank, ADI or specialist lender
* A solid understanding of pricing, margins and portfolio performance drivers – finance accreditations or past experience is desirable
* Experience contributing to or leading product changes and enhancements
* Confidence producing commercial papers and engaging with senior decision-makers
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical actions
* Open to financially‐savvy and articulate product analysts seeking their next step up!
