We are currently seeking an experienced Cook and Kitchen Handto join our friendly team on a Casualbasis. Working closely with the Catering Manager, your passion will be instrumental in enhancing the care and wellbeing of our residents.
What you will be doing:
* Preparing nutritious and delicious meals according to menus, dietary requirements and preferences
* Ensuring meals are presented to the highest standard
* Working closely with the Catering Manager to develop new and exciting menu items
* Adhering to Health and Safety protocols and Food Safety Programs
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Accurate record keeping
What we are looking for:
* Safe Food Handling Certificate
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience in Aged Care, Health Services or Catering beneficial
* Certificate III Commercial Cookery preferred for Cook position
* A collaborative team player with a passion for making a difference
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Flexible availability for weekdays and weekends (Cook - 1:30-5:30 / Kitchen Hand - 9:00-1:30)
