Job Description
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to ensuring the safety and compliance of School Bus Services across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and manage safety and compliance audit programs for contractors and services.
* Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments and operational practice reviews, recommending improvements and ensuring safety standards are upheld.
* Prepare Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental documentation, including contractor safety plans and emergency procedures.
* Support staff development through training program delivery.
* Liaise with stakeholders to communicate audit outcomes, identify improvement opportunities and support corrective actions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Relevant qualifications (Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent) and knowledge in applying WHS legislation and conducting audits in a contracting environment.
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills.
* Ability to research, analyse and apply legislation, policies and standards to develop practical solutions.
* Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* A current West Australian 'C' or 'C-A' Class Drivers Licence or equivalent.
* Will to undertake extended travel to rural and remote areas for auditing and service reviews.
