THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to growth, we are currently seeking a full time talented and experienced Finance Broker to join our Shakespeare Leasing & Mortgage Solutions team, a specialist finance broking division of Shakespeare Financial Group. Through a structured and transparent process, we combine specialised advice with personal and business lending solutions. This includes residential loans, commercial loans, and asset finance.
The role will advise and assist clients with finance applications, in line with policy, statutory and professional standards. With a focus on providing high-quality finance solutions to existing and prospective customers, key responsibilities will include:
Manage the complete asset finance application process
Provide accurate and appropriate information to clients
Effectively and proactively obtain finance approvals in a timely manner
Create accurate and professional applications and documentation
Manage client enquiries professionally, efficiently and in a timely manner
Maintain 100% compliance at all times and in all dealings
Contribute to the processing of commercial loan applications within knowledge base
Capably and confidently use required systems and software, including Microsoft office
Build relationships with lenders
Successfully build strong relationships with clients
Represent Shakespeare in a professional and ethical manner
Maintain and keep up with industry, product and legislative knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Knowledge of lending, and mortgage principles, standards, and professional guidelines
Stong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Outlook & Explorer
Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
Willingness to undertake internal and external training as provided by the firm
Time management skills, with ability to multitask
