With 500,000+ devices connected and 80+ customers across APAC, after a transformative FY25, the business is looking to capitalise on its growth in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, as well as a strong recent launch in the Middle East, by entering the Australian market.
Job Description
* Define and execute X2M's Australian water go-to-market strategy.
* Build strategic partnerships with utilities, government agencies, and technology partners.
* Lead end-to-end tender/RFP processes and close commercial deals.
* Develop proposals, deliver presentations, and manage the sales pipeline.
* Provide market feedback to product teams and identify opportunities for growth.
Important to note: This is an individual contributor role at this stage. You'll be directly responsible for execution without a team around you initially. If you deliver results and the business grows, this role will expand to include team leadership and broader business responsibility.
The Successful Applicant
* 10+ years in sales/business development; 5+ years in the Australian water sector.
* Proven success in large-scale tenders/RFPs and opening new markets.
* Strong networks with utilities, government, and industry stakeholders.
* Exposure to IoT, smart metering, or energy management is a plus.
* Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on business development activities.
* Entrepreneurial, resilient, hands-on, and results-driven.
