The successful candidate will lead the design and documentation of major civil projects including road and drainage works, and building infrastructure within a digital delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage drafting on large projects autonomously and lead junior drafters within the project team.
* Manage small and large projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocated.
* Competently convey structural information into drawing format which can be interpreted by builders.
* Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
* Provide training and assistance to junior drafters including technical support of Civil 3D and other software.
* Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems.
* Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.

* Autonomous drafting skills with ability to work independently.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to guide junior drafters.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment with focus on continuous improvement.
