Designtec Commercial Furniture manufactures high quality commercial furniture and joinery for projects across Western Australia and nationally. From our modern 6,500m2 manufacturing facility in Wangara, we supply commercial furniture solutions to retailers, fit‐out companies and major sectors including government, education, healthcare, mining and corporate workplaces.
We are currently looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our growing team.
We are open to applicants with varying levels of experience. You may have recently completed your apprenticeship, or you may already have several years of industry experience. Most importantly, we are looking for the right long‐term fit for our business and team. Designtec is a procedural and process‐driven business with strong systems, quality standards and workflows in place. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency and works well as part of a team.
This role is predominantly factory based, assembling commercial furniture and cabinetry within a structured production environment. While occasional onsite work may be required from time to time, this is not an installation‐heavy role.
What you'll be doing
* Assembling commercial furniture, cabinetry and joinery components in accordance with job paperwork and instructions provided.
* Conducting quality checks prior to dispatch.
* Working to production schedules and timelines.
* Maintaining clean, safe and organised work area.
* Assisting other production areas when required.
* Occasional onsite installation or site attendance as required.
What we're looking for
* Trade Certificate in Cabinet Making or equivalent recognised industry qualification and/or relevant experience.
* Experience in commercial furniture manufacturing or commercial cabinetry/joinery environments preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
* Comfortable working within structured systems and processes.
* Commitment to workplace safety.
* White Card preferred but not essential.

Hours
38 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday: 6am – 2:30pm
Friday: 6am – 12pm
