Boylan & Associates is proud to partner with a leading national organisation within the FMCG industry to seek a high‐performing National Account Manager. This is a pivotal commercial role managing major customer relationships across key channels and driving profitable growth in a complex, fast‐moving environment.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of multiple national accounts, overseeing the full commercial relationship and ensuring strong alignment between customers, internal stakeholders, and supplier partners. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‐on execution — ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and delivering results.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing and growing national account partnerships across P&C, route, leisure and MSO channels
* Leading annual planning, negotiations, and commercial performance across each account
* Overseeing complex distribution plans and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies
* Collaborating closely with supplier account managers to optimise joint business outcomes
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities to support broader company growth
* Providing leadership and guidance across a diverse membership, customer and contractor base
About You
You're an experienced KAM/NAM professional with a strong track record in FMCG and a passion for building high‐value partnerships. You bring commercial acumen, strategic capability, and the confidence to influence at all levels — from the boardroom to operational teams.
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Proven Key Account or National Account experience within FMCG
* Strong exposure to P&C, route, leisure and MSO channels
* Exceptional relationship management and business development capability
* Strong negotiation skills and analytical, financial and commercial nous
* High levels of organisation and the ability to manage complex distribution models
* A strategic mindset paired with a hands‐on, outcomes‐focused approach
* Demonstrated leadership within a complex membership, customer or contractor environment - the ability to inspire, engage, and manage performance or disputes when required
