Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all store back-of-house aspects efficiently, providing excellent service to staff, and maintaining effective communication with departments and external providers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager in streamlining store procedures and safeguarding operations.
* Effectively use space and stock in the back of house to maximise productivity and minimise stock loss.
* Lead the stockroom team, including talent acquisition, development, and nurturing.
* Manage aftersales processes, including alterations, repairs, and personalisation.
* Manage FOH replenishment of all stock and non-stock articles.
* Collaborate with Retail Standards and Operations teams on store issues.
* Support the Store Manager in managing Asset and Profit Protection teams.
* Maintain high standards in cleaning, maintenance, and Health and Safety.
* Manage the cash office/administrator to ensure cash and payment procedures are followed.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to work in a busy team environment.
* Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
* 1-2 years of management experience.
* Previous administration experience and cash handling experience.
* Desirable: previous experience with SAP and Microsoft Office programs.
