**Acute Hospital Account Manager/Equipment Specialist**
An exciting role exists for a sales professional ideally with experience in the Hospital / Aged Care space. Alternatively, you may be an Allied Health professional with strong clinical experience who is looking for a move into sales. This position is based in Townsville and will cover Townsville Hospital and Healthcare district, including both Hospitals and Aged Care facilities.
**The role**
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for marketing and driving revenue for a diverse range of capital and medical equipment. You will offer expert advice and your technical expertise presented to key stakeholders ranging from NUMs to C-Suite, and will deliver solutions to facilities, whilst also driving better patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities are as follows**:
- Meet or exceed allocated budget requirements
- Maintain existing company accounts, driving better results for end user
- Build networks among various stakeholders both internally and externally to assist in the growth of assigned territory
- Advise management of trends and developments within the market
- Work to a call plan and utilise CRM functions to strategise future opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the business' operations and service teams to develop other areas of the organisation
- Driven with a sales mentality, resilient and adaptable to change
- OTs, Physios, nurses desirable, however not essential
- Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
- Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player within the business both locally and nationally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and selling skills
- Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to a variety of external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel overnight where required regionally and also sales attend sales conferences interstate
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
