Early Childhood Educator Opportunities
We are seeking dedicated and passionate educators to join our team of kindergarten professionals. As a casual educator, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, creating engaging learning experiences and building meaningful relationships with children and families.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and be able to create and deliver child-centred learning activities. You will be responsible for fostering a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, while maintaining a safe environment and adhering to relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards it).
* VIT registration as an ECT (if applicable).
* A strong understanding of National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
* The ability to create and deliver engaging, child-centred learning activities.
* A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them).
* A friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work with different age groups in various settings.
