West Coast Fever is on fire both on and off the court! In 2025 we made the finals for the sixth season in a row, made the grand final shattered attendance records went viral on TikTok, broke an unofficial world record and turned RAC Arena green with our amazing Green Army!
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Media Communications & Data Analytics you'll create engaging and innovative content for West Coast Fever Netball WA and the GIG WA Netball Leagues digital and social channels. Every day is different in the world of netball and there's never a dull moment! Your key duties will include:
* Developing creative content for social media platforms like Meta and TikTok
* Conceptualising and producing high‐quality video and photography content with our Content Hub of designers, producers and videographers
* Collaborating with the Partnerships Team to create integrated on‐brand content that meets both West Coast Fever Netball WA and our Partner deliverables
* Managing and maintaining editorial content calendars
* Analysing social media performance tracking metrics and optimising content and engagement
Netball's peak season runs from March to August and as we're in the sports industry some out‐of‐hours work is required. We're looking for someone passionate about netball sport and content who doesn't mind working some weekends and the occasional interstate travel. We offer a generous time‐off‐in‐lieu policy because your health is important to us and we don't want you to burn out.
About You
We're a fun bunch so we're looking for someone who is not only super creative and organised but also an initiative‐taker ready to dive into all projects and enjoy a bit of office banter! You should have:
* A strong understanding of social media and our target audiences
* Exceptional content production skills especially in video and photography
* A knack for understanding Gen Z & Gen Alpha audiences and educating us on TikTok trends
* Outstanding organisational skills – it can get hectic and we need you on the ball
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
