About the role
In recognition of the growth of our Engineering Team, we are expanding our Jetstar Talent Acquisition Team dedicated to partnering with the Jetstar Engineering Team to deliver all aspects of their recruitment strategy.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and working as part of a small, supportive team, you will oversee an Engineering portfolio within Australia and New Zealand. You will take accountability for developing superior stakeholder relationships and partnering with the business as a reputable, trusted adviser. You will draw upon your experience in recruiting for highly technical roles, to create proactive sourcing strategies and add value quickly.
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:
- Partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class recruitment process
- Own the end to end recruitment lifecycle, supported by a Talent Acquisition Coordinator as needed
- Creatively attract talent for hard to fill, specialist roles through pro-active, innovative sourcing strategies
- Contribute to strategic talent acquisition projects and initiatives
- Provide guidance and counsel beyond the recruitment process, advising on market insights, trends, and competitor movements.
About you
To achieve success in this position, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Internal or agency full-cycle recruitment experience within an operational environment (prior recruitment of technical and EBA roles preferred)
- A team player who is comfortable to operate in a complex, evolving and fast paced environment
- Exposure to Workday Recruitment Module, or similar recruitment system, highly regarded (but not essential).
