Job Description
We are seeking an Equine Welfare Property Manager in Muswellbrook to oversee the retraining and rehoming of Thoroughbred horses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equine handling and management, preferably with an equestrian or racing background.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee personnel to ensure high welfare standards and promote a culture of excellence within the organization.
* Collaborate with veterinarians to maintain horse health and wellbeing, ensuring that all animals receive the highest level of care.
* Develop and implement effective strategies for the successful retraining and rehoming of Thoroughbred horses, resulting in improved outcomes for both the horses and the organization.
Requirements
* A strong educational background in a relevant field, such as equine science or animal welfare.
* Proven experience in managing equine properties, including staff supervision and budget management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
