About This Position
The Electronics Equipment Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring maintenance, troubleshooting and rework of complex Systems/boxes at an OEM facility in accordance with a Prime Contract.
Main Responsibilities
* Independently identify and troubleshoot complex system issues;
* Maintain IES components to ensure optimal performance;
* Detailed documentation of conducted work packages is required;
* Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
* Communicate with suppliers for specific IES parts;
* Support the development of solutions for mechanical/electrical/optical issues;
* Assist in creating maintenance and support concepts;
* Advise customers regarding issues and further development opportunities;
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certification IV in Electronics/Mechanics/Aviation;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics/Optics Production environment;
* Defence Industry or Simulation Industry experience is preferred;
* Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is necessary;
