Logistics Inventory and Asset Management Specialist
The successful applicant will provide support to the current Warehousing & Distribution contract management team.
You will need to demonstrate flexibility and agility to respond to the changing context and shifting priorities of the Defence environment and to realign resourcing requirements to meet new demands when necessary.
You will work independently whilst contributing as an effective team member, with strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and liaison skills. You will also need to have a high level of stakeholder engagement both within and external to the team.
* Accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex logistics inventory and asset management tasks.
* Contribute to various logistics management activities to provide support to units and operations within Defence.
* Participate in the review and development of policies, procedures and processes for logistics management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain productive relationships with others.
They will also have a strong understanding of Defence Logistics Policies and an outcome-focused mindset with an ability to get practical results.
